Laura Woolley

Laura studied Anthropology at Texas State University.  While attending college, she worked as a teaching assistant for both Educational Psychology and General Studies. Laura finds she is happiest when she engages young minds and fosters their love of learning.

Laura’s 10 years of experience in the classroom at private schools in both Dallas and Austin, taught her that students thrive when you allow them to nurture their curiosity and engage in challenging, meaningful work. She embraces a teaching style that empowers students to move beyond subject comprehension to the application of knowledge in their personal lives and in their community.

 

In her experience, children are far more capable than they may believe. When we step aside and let them lead, they gain the confidence to excel and work toward amazing endeavors.
