
Edwin Ormeo
Head of Entrepreneurial Institute & Visual Art
Edwin Ormeo serves as the Head of the Entrepreneurship Institute as well as the Visual Arts & Digital Media educator here at AESA. He brings more than a decade of experience teaching photography, TV production, and creative technology, along with extensive professional experience in photography, graphic design, media production, and visual communications.
Edwin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting from Watterson College in California and has completed additional Career & Technical Education teaching certification courses. He is also a Certified Adobe Professional in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.

Edwin believes every student has a unique creative voice and that education should provide students with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to turn their ideas into meaningful work. His approach combines creativity with real-world application, encouraging students to experiment, problem-solve, collaborate, and develop skills that can prepare them for college, careers, and entrepreneurship.

A professional photographer and business owner since 1999, Edwin continues to pursue photography as both a creative outlet and a professional passion. He enjoys capturing people, events, and meaningful moments through video & photography and bringing those experiences back into the classroom to help students see the possibilities of a career in the creative arts.
Outside the classroom, he enjoys riding motorcycles, exploring the outdoors, fishing, and spending time experiencing the world through adventures of video & photography. He also plays various musical instruments.
Edwin was named 2023–2024 Oakleaf High School Teacher of the Year and recognized among the Top 5 County Teachers of the Year. He has also served as a PLC Lead, National Technical Honor Society Advisor, and Filipino Culture Club Sponsor.
