
Christian Conte
Technology and ESports
Christian Conte is AESA's innovative technology Teacher and Esports Coach. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Applied Mathematics from Texas State University. Before joining AESA, he served as Head Esports Coach at Graceland University, an Esports Youth Development Professional at the Boys and Girls Club of Austin, and Vice President of Texas State University’s Esports program.

Originally from Stamford, Connecticut, Christian found his passion for education while mentoring youth through esports and tech programming. His proudest accomplishments include launching two nationally ranked teams at Texas State and coaching Graceland University to their first Heart of America Conference Playoff berth and NECC Valorant Nationals.

Inspired by industry leader Hector “Optic Hecz” Rodriguez, Christian lives by the quote, “The dream is free, but the journey is not.” At AESA, he aims to grow the Esports program into a leader among high schools, focusing on teamwork, leadership, and preparing students for the next stage of life.

He believes in a collaborative and flexible teaching environment, where each student’s unique strengths are valued. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys going to the movies, gaming with friends, and watching football and soccer. His family owns a trio of Italian restaurants in Connecticut, run by his father and brothers.
