Christian Agnew

Physical Education & Athletics

Before joining AESA Prep Academy, Christian was an accomplished collegiate basketball player from 2018 to 2023, earning All-Conference honors in 2018-2019 and recognition as the No. 2 player in ESPN’s Top 10.  Christian has Bachelor's Degrees from The University of Texas El Paso and Southeastern Louisiana University and an Associate of Arts from the University of North Alabama. Christian has coached and worked as a student counselor and his diverse background equips him to inspire and guide students both on and off the court.

Raised in Detroit, Michigan, Christian was motivated to pursue a career in education by the strong influence of his mother and grandmother, who instilled in him the importance of knowledge, resilience, and the desire to help others. His goal at AESA Prep Academy is to provide students with real-world lessons, shaping them into capable, confident young adults who are ready to contribute positively to society.​ Christian strives to be a positive role model and an example of continuous growth.

Christian is most proud of being the first in his family to graduate from college, a personal accomplishment that motivates him to continue pursuing excellence in all aspects of his life. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and bowling, and discovering new restaurants.
