Bethany Broesche

1st Grade

Bethany Broesche is excited to join AESA Prep Academy teaching 1st grade. A proud Austin native, Bethany earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business from The University of Texas at Austin in 2023 and is currently completing her EC–6 teaching certification through Region 13. She began her education career as a literacy tutor with Literacy First, an AmeriCorps program supporting K–2 students in Title I schools, where she also served as a campus leader.

Bethany has a strong background in child development and classroom support, having worked as a lead camp counselor at Camp Roadrunner and as a TA and research assistant at UT. Her love for working with children, especially helping them grow in confidence and literacy, inspired her path into education. She brings to the classroom a passion for student-centered learning, creativity, and building a positive, playful space where students feel safe to explore and grow.

Bethany believes in the power of encouragement, effort, and curiosity—values reflected in her favorite quote by OG Mandino: "Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later." On weekends, she enjoys drawing, spending time outdoors, and playing Dungeons & Dragons. She’s excited to be a part of the AESA community and support her students in becoming confident, curious learners.
