Audrey Pillion

Arts, Photography & Yearbook

Audrey Pillion joins AESA Prep Academy as the Secondary Arts, Photography, and Yearbook teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas State University and brings with her a deep passion for creative expression and visual storytelling. Growing up in Keller, TX, Audrey was inspired to pursue a career in education by her best friend, whose enthusiasm for teaching left a lasting impact. Audrey is especially excited to be a part of the AESA community, which she describes as a true gem.

Audrey’s love for art is the heart of her teaching philosophy. She aims to foster a classroom environment that is safe, inspiring, and free from perfectionism—where students can explore their creativity and develop confidence in their unique artistic voices. Whether guiding students through photography techniques or designing the school yearbook, Audrey is passionate about encouraging artistic growth through hands-on learning and meaningful projects.

Outside the classroom, Audrey enjoys paddle boarding, hanging out with her best friends, and exploring antique shops in nearby cities. She lives with her husband and their four beloved pets—two dogs and two cats—and is proud of accomplishments like designing the official tote bag for the city of San Marcos.
