Agenlina Saldana

Kindergarten

Angelina Saldana is thrilled to be joining AESA Prep Academy teaching Kindergarten. A lifelong Austinite, Angelina brings over six years of experience in early childhood education, having previously taught preschool at SHPC Preschool in Austin. She began her journey in education during her first year of college and quickly discovered a passion for working with young children that shaped her career path.

Angelina is currently completing an additional degree, a Bachelor of General Studies with a major in Integrated Studies and a minor in Anthropology at Texas State University, with plans to graduate in December 2025. She is also on track to earn her Child Development Associate certificate in August 2025. Inspired by her mother—a dedicated early childhood educator for over 17 years—and a family full of teachers, Angelina is committed to creating a loving, nurturing environment where her students feel safe, supported, and free to explore through play and creativity.

Outside of the classroom, Angelina enjoys crocheting, reading, gardening, and spending time downtown walking around the lake or catching live shows. She and her husband David live in Austin with their two dogs, Lucy and Charlie, and their cat, Hank.
