Admissions Process

We are delighted that you are interested in AESA Prep Academy. We value our distinctive learning community and seek students of good character who will contribute to our unique and vibrant school.
Step 1
To begin the Admissions Process, email the admissions portal at:
admissions@aesaprepacademy.com
to set up a meeting with Executive Head of School, Barbara Garza.

Step 2
All student candidates are required to shadow for one day at AESA, with the exception of summer admissions applications.

After a shadow is scheduled, students and their families are invited to complete an AESA Application and asked to bring their application and the Shadow Day Contact Form on their shadow day.
Step 3
After a successful student shadow day and interview, the candidate and their parents will be invited to complete the rest of the admissions process.

Academic, behavior, and any formal testing reports for the past two years are required. We also ask for letters of recommendation from former teachers and/or coaches, if applicable.

Once the admissions application process has been completed, parents will be notified by phone and email of our admittance decision.
Deposit
Once a student has been offered admission, a $1,000 deposit is required to hold the student’s position here at AESA. Once the deposit and signed contract have been received, the student will officially be accepted as an AESA Prep Academy student and their position will be secure for the upcoming school year.
Admission
Priority
Students who are in good standing at the end of the school year will receive priority during the selection process for the following year. The admission process is designed to acquaint prospective parents and students with as much of the school as possible. In turn, we hope to learn as much as we can about you, your academic interests, talents, hobbies, aspirations, and your interest in AESA.
Waiting
List
To be on the waiting list for grade levels that don’t have openings, a family and their child will need to complete an admissions application and then submit a nonrefundable fee of $50.00. If the child is enrolled in AESA, the $50.00 fee will be credited to their tuition payment.
